Hi, I’m Rachel.
After more than 30 years in hospitality and events, I still genuinely love finding the right venue.
My career has been built around people, places and relationships. I love discovering venues, understanding what makes them work and matching them to the people and events they're genuinely right for.
Why I created
Rachel Harwood Events
I wanted to offer the kind of service I believe clients deserve: personal, experienced, responsive and straightforward.
No call centres. No being passed around. No list of 20 venues simply because they're available.
When you work with Rachel Harwood Events, you work with Rachel.
I'll listen, ask questions, tell you if I don't think something is right, negotiate, chase, find alternatives and care about the outcome as if my own name were on the invitation.
30+ years of experience — and still curious
I still visit venues and destinations because a website can only tell you so much. I want to understand how a place feels, who it is right for, where its strengths are and whether there are any caveats you need to know.
That curiosity is also the thinking behind Rachel Recommends: sharing venues, destinations and ideas with useful insight about who they could really work for.
